I added the same battery switch to my boat last season. I did it because the factory dual battery setup uses a diode to isolate the starting battery from the house battery. The way it comes from the factory, the two position on/off switch disconnects the starting battery but not the house battery. If you leave an accessory on you could drain the house battery when in storage and not know it. There are 2 CB switches under the helm but they are electrical on/off switches. I added the extra perko on/off on my house battery for 2 reasons:

            1. To provide a convenient 1 stop place to ensure all power is off when I walk away from the boat.

            2. To ensure the batteries are physically disconnected from the electrical system of the boat when I plug in my on-board charger. CHP said I didn't need to worry about this warning from the boat and charger manuals since it's a 10A charger, but it's a secondary reason nonetheless.

Or should I just go ahead and order anyway? I'm stoked about getting a proper surfboard.
I'm not good enough to warrant that purchase

Which board? I would just order it... My first time riding a Walker Project board (the Wake Outlaws branded one), I pulled out a 360 on only my 2nd try which I had never done on my Inland yellow loogey that I have hundreds of attempts on. The boards are so fast!

I'm not extremely good either, but to find a board that I can buy once and progress on is going to be valuable to me. I need to get some frontside airs and some spins. The less expensive boards are only like $150 less than TWP anyway...

Either getting the Signature or the F18. But the Demo I have is this one here with the Dragon. It was the early version of the Signature. That Dragon is hand painted so as far as I know, it's that very board I have as well...

i always try to buy USA made.

i live a ways from a pro rider who rides for CWB so youd think id be down with them, but still wanted slingshot stuff cuz they are USA made. Unfortunately im a broke college student who can only afford clearnece ronix boards... at least ronix is a smaller is a smaller company than the LF/HL conglomerate

Where did you get the demo from? Do you have a hookup of some kind? What size is that?

The Demo is from TWP sales rep who happens to live very close to me. Wind didn't allow me to use it this weekend so I asked him if I can keep it until Wednesday to try it and he said of course! Hopefully I get a good session in Wednesday.
