Well I hoped it would be that easy, but when asked if it was on the engine or output shaft I sputtered and spitted and said I'd call him back.
    Waiting for another good one!

I have the '99 21V with the Mercruiser. Can anyone post a piccie of the right impellar for me?

Well, I google imaged that mercruiser part number and that's the one he showed me when I showed up there. Guess I should head back today and pick it up...

I saw some other photos in the forum here that showed some impellars that were splined instead of keyed so I got concerned...

It's belt driven so I would say motor then. They have output shaft driven impellers? seem like the only thing the output shaft should drive is the prop.

I know the MarinePower ones are splined, but I don't know about Merc.

Merc also had one that was a "D" shaft.

If its the one with the composite housing, look it over inside REAL good for excessive wear grooves and scoring and cracks. The housing kit is only about $100, so its almost worth it to just replace if in doubt

Yea, the "D" Shaft is what I meant when I said 'keyed'... Anyway that's what I'm getting - the whole body kit. It's $105 OTD.

Good move! TRD was eating impellers so I told him to look at the inside. He posted pics and it was scored bad and was blue. he has not blown an impeller yet.

Hey chptril sent ya a pm on some ballast. Also I need the rubber inserts for a pair of wet sound pro 60 tower clamps when I got the boat it had the skinny metcraft tower so I need the thicker rubber ones the previous owner did give me any of the other inserts.
