I wish. Now I get to bring them to and suffer through a birthday party for some classmates for three hours.

There is a tint place moving in right next door to me as we speak. I think Jloflin is going to get them to do his boat next month when he brings it back for the tower and sub.

My new dealer here sells nautique, Tige and a few other brands of I/O and pontoon. When I got here in december I had drained all the water and used stabil in the gas. I was going to take it to them for the rest of the winterization (since I haven't done a winterization on my boats in TX ) and they were too busy getting ready for a boat show. I said I'll take it in when they are done but he asked me what I've done and where I store it. I told him drain water and I store it in my semi-heated garage. He said that's all I need to do. I had the oil changed in the fall when I hit 25 hours so I'm good for this winter. I was a little surprised that he just let 300 bucks walk away but it encourages me to call him and/or go to him for other routine Mx.

I ordered an impeller to put in myself because my boat sat on the dealers lot for a year with 1.2 hours on it so I'm putting in a fresh one. Because my boat is in the garage and I have an onboard charger for the batteries I don't worry about pulling them and every month I plug in the charger to keep them topped off.
I WOULD JUST PULL THE PLATE INSPECT IT AND IF IT LOOKS OKAY MAYBE ADD A LITTLE OF THE LUBE TO IT.IT IS A SPECIAL LUBE.DID YOU DRAIN THE WATER OUT THE MANIFOLDS,BLOCK,AND TRANS COOLER?

THE PUMP I RECOMMENDED WILL PULL FLUID OUT UP TO 8 QTS OR ADD FLUID TO V-DRIVE AND TRANSMISSION.IT IS ALSO MADE FOR MULTIPLE USES.MUCH MORE DURABLE THAN THE 10.00 ONE.I HAD ONE OF THEM AND AFTER A COUPLE OIL CHANGES IT FELL APART,SO I GOT THE GOOD STUFF.

I did try reaching down but I could not get anything to flip on. I thought I had read these do not have a switch. I double checked it and I do not believe they do, thus the reason to fill it with water. If you know of a switch or where it is at let me know. I thought that maybe the little blue thing was a button for a switch. I pressed it and nothing. It is a tight fit on that side of the boat. I didn't want to take all the blower stuff out and it doesn't look like it would hold up well if my arm dropped on it. I am hopeful that I get the new circuit breaker and all is well. Then it is just that pesky transom light that I will probably never use but be bugged by the fact that it does not turn on.

                        Here is info from Rule-Mate:

The Rule 500 offers many design features while keeping size and cost to a minimum. Especially popular on smaller craft, Rule 500 pumps are unmatched in pumping power and longevity. 3/4" discharge outlet. Each pump is easily installed with the pump and switch internally wired. A third wire allows the pump to be connected to a manual override switch if so desired. The rule-mate bilge pump is thoughtfully designed, and due to its compact profile, can be used in practically all bilge pumping applications. NOTE:Features: All-in-one pump & switch - No float switch required Pump turns on when water level reaches 2-3/4" & shuts off when water is removed "Field effect" technology recognizes the dielectric constant of water only. Will not pump oil - Straight motor oil will not turn pump on Snap-off strainer for easy cleaning Anti-Fouling impeller Limited three year warranty GPH (LPH) - 500 (1890) Model - RM500A Volts - 12DC Amps @ 12V - 2.0 (12v) Amps @ 13.6V - 2.2 (13.6v) Fuse - 3 Fittings - Included Hose Dia. - 3/4” (19mm)Height: 4.5 inches Width: 6 Inches
I HAD TO REPLACE MY BILGE PUMP IN MY 2007.IT IS A COMMON PROBLEM FOR THEM TO BURN UP BECAUSE OF DEBRIS LEFT IN THE BOAT FROM THE FACTORY.IT THEN GETS SUCKED UP BY THE BILGE AND MAKES THE FLOAT STICK.THE THE BILGE BURNS ITSELF UP AND KILLS YOUR BATTERY.WE THOUGHT WE HAD LEFT A LIGHT ON BUT IT WAS BILGE PUMP.
