Even better than customer service or lack there of is when you go somewhere and when you ask a questions you get an answer that you know is know way correct. Then they will start down some path. If you don't know say you don't know. Don't make chit up.

So here is the facts:
My center sundeck skin had a tear in it when I bought the boat. It was to be repaired under warranty. The skin was on back order and the dealer did not recieve it until boating season. I waited until winter to have it repaired because I did not want to miss out any boating. Living three hours from the dealership, I decided to ship the hatch to them. That cost me $230 for shipping to and from the dealership. After the dealership recieved it they called and told me the new skin they had gotten was stained and they would have to wait for another one. Once it was finally repaired and shipped back it sat in my garage for 2 weeks in the box. I got it out yesterday to install it and it was trashed. I guess damaged in shipping even thought the package is not really damaged. I have called two dealerships today to get a quote on the repairs so I can submit it to UPS. Neither dealership has returned my calls. Needless to say I am getting very anxious.

Anyone have a good idea of what a seat skin for a hatch would cost. And how much to install it. I just need a high estimate so I can get this claim started with UPS.

Robert, from one of your posts you have to wait to get your new boat till you take your old one in?

I'm getting my old boat detailed,replacing the axle seal and brg on my cadillac.Changing the oil and trans/vdrive fluids.I want the old boat as close to perfect as it can be before i sell it.I don't want to make 2 trips.It's 3 hours one way.

Nobody - you seem to have gone through the same conversion you state that Dave went through. You are throwing around an awful lot of compliments on various threads.
