The hyperlite broadcast is a good beginner board, kids to adults are up on it within two or three goes

That is what I ended up going with. I will be able to give it a better review this spring. I wanted a surf style board but the cost was more plus I feared it getting broke / damaged with a bunch of people learning on it.

Since I have gotten it others have suggested that a surf style is easier to learn on. Even some of the same people that told me the compression board would be easier and better.

I figured we could use this to find out if it is something we liked and then if it was we could move to a surf style if needed. Then keep this one for anyone that was new wanting to learn.

If surfing goes well for us I wanted to check out the shreddstixx. There was a user on here last year that was going to start selling them here in CO that was going to let you demo them. I saw a posting last night on craigslist of them being sold here local, wondered if it was the same guy.

OK, but that seems almost hidden and difficult to find. I just thought it makes sense to have it be a little more visible on the site. Plus, unless they have dropped a few of the sponsored athletes, they only have video clips of 5 or 6 guys.

Yes they have dropped a few.But obviously you didn't see the new riders they signed. look again.

I just tried it and thought it would be easier. That would be kind of like the riders that are sponsored having a Tige logo on the inside of their PFD.

If you use the Quick Navigation it gets covered if goes through a movie.
