Time to start getting all of the calls from those that have not been to the meetings to know what is going, didn't pay attention, or haven't read anything.

This will go on until after we should have or have left the meeting place. Then they all wonder why I sometimes run a couple minutes late.

With all the follow up we have done there is no excuse. The best part is when some one starts to throw in their opinion or their version of things to the other scouts or parents. Its not that difficult.

Do you make attendance at meetings and activities part of advancement? "Show Scout Spirit" meets participating. If they dont show up for the meetings and campouts and other functions, they dont earn the advancement. We required 90% at meeting and 75% for activities.

I do but the Unit comissioners have a different opinion. A number of our boys are not really into scouts so advancing is not a huge deal, it is part of a church group.

Well now I am going to get food for the camp out. Was supposed to go earlier to help a scout fulfill some requirements but we were not going to have another scout or adult so I said no. I do not need that headache now or down the road at any point.
