Do they concern you at all or is it just take it out and drain it real well? Do you flush the engine?
Nah, I'm not concerned about quaggas. If the boat was left in the water, it could be a problem. Or if I launched in another body of water that was not on the lower Colorado, I would be careful to not spread water with potential larvae. But I really don't worry about them in the engine. One guy on here was trying to say that they grew inside his engine, but I call ... Even if they live after being sucked into your engine system, I don't think there is any way for them to have enough food supply in the water in your engine to live and grow.
