That area is beautiful. We used to go to Scout camp in the wind rivers, just north east of Pinedale.

That is a beautiful part of Wyoming Reminds me of Montana

We would go up to the snake river, by Hoback junction, and float it without a guide as team building for the FFA officers. We would then spend a day in Jackson. Not scouting, but I like riding the alpine slide.

I used to go camping with my uncles in the Uintas, mountains in northeastern Utah. We were all hiking up to a lake to go fishing, including my grandmother, my uncle forgot his fishing license. I ran to grab it then caught up to them. Just as I was getting there a cow moose and calf had just gone through them and another group. I missed it but was told it was scary. My oldest daughter was about 2 and from then on she hates moose.
