Yeah I have been bumping the frequency up incrementally but I havnt gotten dramatic with it.


Max is 50, usually happens around 40 depending on the song. The head unit Eq is set to Xplod (its a sony)

The lower the frequency, the harder it is for a smaller speaker to drive it. So, Set it about 80Hz. I like 80Hz, but we way need to go to 100Hz, but lets make sure of the other things first, then try a little discipline

Again, double check the 2 slide switches on the speaker wire end of the amp. I think they are labeled "hi-Pass and "Off" for both "Amp1" and "Amp2" Both need to be on "Hi-Pass".

Tune the h/u EQ to OFF, bass 0, treble 0, fade/balance center, loudness off. and tune with a store-bought CD.

40 is about 75% of the h/u's max volume, so any higher then that, you are getting into the clipping zone. This is where the discipline comes in

Yes! With the amp, sub, 4x6's and 6x9s, you dont need the headunit to exaggerate the spectrum of frequencies. If you want more lows, we can adjust. If you want more highs, we can adjust, but @ the amp. If you want to fine tune at the head-unit a little for different genres of music, then you can, but go easy.

I know! I canceled the card this AM, but bank is closed for MLK so I cant start the dispute to get the funds back and get a new card ordered.

We had some back a few months ago, but it it was $1, $14, and the bank froze it on the third one. Nothing like the charge you had!
