Holy crap! Protective mama moose! Bad news. Glad to hear that you survived.

No chit! We had just crossed a tributary and popped up out of the bush and surprised her. As she charged, I turned to yell at the wife "Dont Move" and she had already jump back across the tributary we had crossed. She pulled up about 2 feet from me I was screaming at the top of my lungs and waving my arms......fish in one hand and tripod, with camera still attached, in the other.

I saw a moose and calf in a clearing about 1/2 mile away in the mountains north of Spokane about 10 years ago. There was 5' of snow, we were wearing snowshoes and our guide spotted them. We were far enough away that they didn't seem to mind us but as slow as we were moving, they were just walking alog with those long legs as if there wasn't any snow. It was impressive to see why they are so tall, deep snow is nothing for them, they could have caught up to us easily just slowly walking over compared to us trudging along in snowshoes. I was a bit nervous after reading and hearing stories of moose attacks.

we were once told by an Alaskan Ranger that there were more deaths by Moose then bear. After being charged by Molly Moose, I believe it!

Make sure that the half of the amp they are on is set to "hi-pass" and not "Off" and that the x-over control dial is set to 80Hz or above.

Check that. If that's good, then bump the x-over to 100Hz and see? Next will be to turn the gain down a tick or two. Also, make sure the head-unit EQ is not turned up on the bass or treble.

Yeah I have been bumping the frequency up incrementally but I havnt gotten dramatic with it.

Max is 50, usually happens around 40 depending on the song. The head unit Eq is set to Xplod (its a sony)
