    $229 is what it cost me to ship my engine hatch to St. Louis to be reskinned under warranty. That also included a return label Probably would have cost me less to drive there but I really didn't want to make two 300 mile round trips.

                            it is a wear item, just take care of it and you will be fine. my old 17 year bayliner held up well and it was a much thinner grade vinyl. the only vinyl i had redone was the back bench, everything else was fine. keep the boat covered when not in use, that is key. when its time to replace it, you will know and plan for it over the winter or spring.

                              Not sure. I had a tear in mine when I bought it. The son was on backorder until this summer but I wanted to wait till winter to get it repaired.
