I can't even fathom renting out my boat. Even if you are part of the rental as captain/driver that comes with the boat. I would spend every outing worried about what they might do to the boat. Methinks that renters would not be especially careful. How many vinyl punctures and tears would happen? Spills of drinks? Gelcoat chips and gouges?

Plus, even if you can find an insurance policy that covers it as a commercial boat, the cost would likely suck up any income that it generates.
Seems like you would be getting huge frustrations, damages to your boat, and probably not make any money. Sign me up!
