last year we hiked a small chute near our ski hill.. it had been warm all week and cooled off the day we went. as we were skiing down on of kids we were with lost his goggles so we had to stop and with all of us standing in one spot the snow started to shift. scariest day ive ever had snowboarding

Isn't it funny how people naturally say out west but when you are in the west you don't say out east you say back east, just a little Jerry Seinfeld style observation.

Mostly Mt Spokane, but I want to get up to 49degrees north and Sweitzer at least once. I've got 2 little ones in tow so for this season at least it will be local and lots of time on the bunny hill.

Looking like a white new years

Wow, almost exactly 24 hours after my snow started. It stopped here, I'll have to go and measure but my eyeball is telling me 10-12"'of snow, enjoy. Keep up with the shoveling early, the first 6-9 hours it's a very wet snow, then the cold blast came and the water froze making it hard for my neighbors kids to shovel it later.
