I hear ya, I'm working on my whole house right now, it seems like the never ending unpack. Just when you think the room is done there is my wife with the hammer ready to hang pictures or put up coat racks or (insert honey-do here).

New battery goes in tomorrow, amp and sub will go in, and I will run the speaker wires to the doors and install the door speakers, and run the + cable.

Whats the best way to keep the sub box stationary?

My personal project is done for the day. My wife likes to put those dumb carpet things on the toilet seat covers, well, the toilet seat covers in this new house didn't have enough room between the seat and lid to keep the seat up when I take a piss, so I got new toilet seats from Lowes (i love that place) with a metal frame spaced out enough to keep the setup when I tap a kidney. Man victory today, now onto putting in light switches with dimmers for the kitchen, kitchenette, and dinning room.

Velcro? The rough side on the sub box ought to stick to the carpet in your trunk but still be removable to throw your snowboard in the trunk. BTW, what kind of car or truck are you hooking up?

If both your trunk and the sub box are carpeted, I would think it should stay put without anything special. (Of course, that may not be true if you are pulling 2G turns )

Otherwise, some rubber feet on the bottom of the sub box.

This is assuming that tipping over isn't the concern...

Ugh. I hate those carpeted seat covers. One of my pet peeves, when visiting folks with them, is exactly that issue of it not staying up.

Glad you got it fixed, Ewok

                        So!

Its still a zx, right? I bet it doesnt have the 3 little buttons over the sub wire terminals.

Hmmm...maybe some little nylon straps with snaps on them to hold in place, but it would allow easy disconnect and removal.

                            Lay it on its back.

Yup. All the other setting will be the same still?

I was thinking of doing the straps but I was going to try and use things I already have if possible.. I have some decent velcro.

Im not really worried about removal, but I don't want to screw it into the floor either.
