Because, considering also the weekend miles, etc. I have consistently spent $485-$550 a month in diesel in my F-250. I am literally getting 48MPG on the first tank so far and that's 4X the fuel mileage I was getting in my truck. Yes, I only get 12MPG in my truck... 8-9mpg when I tow my RV.

Ouch! I can see how that would help! I let my wife drive my duramax and she gets 13-14 on her 15 mile commute and I take the Mustang for my 72 miler. I sure like driving my truck better than a car though, just doesn't make sense to waste money on fuel like that.

Diesel around here is about $3.05 but saw it as much as $3.25 on the interstate. I think I paid $2.89 for premium the other day when I filled up the Corvette.

Yea, now my fuel consumption hasn't slowed down my beer consumption, so do the math now... I was over $700/month is diesel and fivefuel.
