Does it come in a tube? Or do you have to mix it like an epoxy? Do I just cut squares out of the carpet and squirt it out of the tube right onto the hull, then slap some wood blocks on it?

What kind of wood do you use as the block? Can I just cut a piece of 2X4 so I have a 4X4X2 piece wood?

Regular caulk gun tube.

Yep, cut out the carpet, clean the area of old glue.

I like to drill some shallow holes in the blocks to give the adhesive something to bite to, so it's not 2 smooth/flat surfaces to bond together.

Once you stick it up there, it's best to apply some pressure till it cures, and that can be the tricky part

Treated wood works pretty good, plywood encapsulated with epoxy is good, and Trex decking boards or other HDPE material is best.
