Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

I am going to use a Shurflo 2.8 GPM or larger demand pump with an Accumulator tank to drive the fresh water plumbing. Two sinks and an automatic head. I am taking down some of the stock lighting in favor of the warm white of halogen... I had considered LED's for the interior and might still go that way, but the color temp of the light is off for my eye, and LED fixtures to date are too focused beam, like a spot. I want more of a flood style light.

So much still to do, and I am only talking right now about the little things on the interior. I still have lots to do for the rigging to set it up the way I want it...

Nice thing about Catalina sailboats is that there is an active National Association for most models. There are also numerous outlets including Catalina Yachts where you can buy stock parts. Maintenance items like standing rigging, runnning lines, sails, etc are just purchased as finished goods. NO need to go to the custom marine chandlery to have a custome stainless piece of wire rigging made; it is already available as a finished good.

I used to hav a 24' Chris Craft... Mid 60's plywood cruiser. It was really primitive compared to even other cruisers of the time but it was cool. I gravitated towards the down-east lobster-style boat, and often wonder if I could afford to take a working boat and turn it into a nice cruiser....

Sme remodels are only measured in the number of bottom jobs done while the remodel is in progress.

I just found an updated ad on CL. He wants it out of it's slip by Nov 1. Asking $900 for it. I bet it could be had for $500... Just sayin'.

The mast would be more as a gantry crane support. If any sail, prolly only a stay sail. I bet that thing doesn't draft that much... EDIT. I see the sail, prolly a full length shallow keel.
