      Don't overload your boats with ballast while your kids are learning...there is absolutely no benefit. Technique Technique Technique

          I only had 1200-1300 in ballast.. but most of it in the back

            I agree 100%! But I was too lazy and short on time to lift the bricks out of the lockers...

            These are split up evenly back there and they are about 35# each.

                Hrm, I been doing the math all wrong. That's closer to 800lbs I guess. LOL!

                  We put 0 ballast in our 22i until my son learned his first backroll.

                  I you do weight it...start 50/50 and tweek it from there. You will need more in the front compared to your direct drive. I really liked the intergrated bow sack in our Tige.

                          Ya I think thats my issue I was just used to my 21i and adding bow weight sank the dang thing lol.

                          I need to balance it out a lot more.... But also need to figure out how... I could get a bow sac but that is where I keep my anchor and buoys/bumpers.

                              None at the moment LOL. But it planes fairly fast. Usually there is 100-200lbs of human weight up there though.
