wow, quite a list of to do's.
Let me try to recap:

Pretty sure I'm buying the right boat.

Enough canned food in the RV. (Actually wife is excited that I sold the buggy for a boat)

Not giving an extra $100. Definately buying it right

Test drive is IN the water. Nephew gonna test the wake on his board.

Separate bank account? check! how do you think I've been able to save enough cash for this puppy. (other than because I switched to Geico)

Just gonna take the helm. the rest of the boat should stay attached.

spare keys made? Good idea! and the little floaty thing too. (Can't forget the bottle opener keychain either!)

USCG requirements? Check! He says he's got it all. And the boat cover and Bimini.

Boat U.S. covers both of mine. In Kentucky we don't have to license the trailer.

Yup, here in PA, that is the same - of course, 2 registrations = mo money (we are a Democrat controlled state too)
