Ok so I offered to the shipper to meet them in Evanstan WY ( hour drive from my work) so she didn't have to do some big canyons passes at the end of the haul. I get to Evanston way before she does so I give her a call to see where she is at still pretty far out so I head east for another 1/2 hour and wait ( supposed to meet in Evanston around 8) She got to the other town around 8:50 but I am sure she was crawling some bad hills to climb before I am really surprised the trans in her jeep made it.

So its all ready dark cant see much of the boat I hook up and head home. Wake the wife out of bed to help me back up the trailer I have 2 double gates and still have my 98 21i ( new owner isn't picking it up till Friday) well my seconded gate is not as wide I had maybe 6 inches on each side of the trailer.

Well as I am finishing backing the trailer up ( side note I had to move one of my BMW's out of the drive-way onto the street to open the gates) So I am starting to take off the cover when I hear a loud crash and my BMW's alarm going off... WTF!!!

I ran up towards the street and I see a Toyota minivan pulling away I yell at them hey stop! And as I do I hear screams and ALL 4 of the van doors open and 7 or so KIDS!! go running out of it like cockroaches including the driver they go running down the street and just left the van sitting in park with the engine running.

I yell at them to come back or I am calling the cops but they just kept going. I go back to my truck and get my CCW because it was still in it then approach the van, no one left and pull the keys out of the ignition. One of the kids didn't run off very far ( in fact she lived down at the end of the street and her dad was out side and saw all the rest of the kids running) So She had back and her fathers walks down as well.

I start asking her questions as my wife was calling the police department. trying to find out who the driver was ect she didn't really know much and 5-10 min's go by and finally the kid that was driving comes back... He was only 14 and begged me to not call the police ( we all ready had them on the line and officer on the way)

I told him tuff you had your chance you took off, and look at my smashed in fender on my car. He starts begging and telling me how he will work for me to pay it off and then said I will start to cry if you call I said it was to late and why would I care if you start crying?

The rest and the kids all start trickling in I think 6 or so cop cars showed up must have been a slow night for them. Here is the kicker it wasn't even the kids parents car it was his friends ( who was also 14) I think they had 1 person in the car that was 17 and had a drivers license ( but was a passenger in the back)
