If I buy your amps, will you toss in Kicker's top-of-the-line 6.5" car components and a nice sub for my VW?
I am looking at components for the truck. My head is swimming from all of the choices! I went to Best Buy and a couple of other places to listed to component systems and in those environments, they all sounded very similar.
How the heck is one supposed to make a good decision???

Yup - that is what I am shooting for. It is hard to tell that in a store in an open air environment versus a car and also it is hard for me to tell one from the other...

Go with the folks where you think you will get the best customer service, just a post away...

seriously though, the lower frequencies will all react the same way when you get them into a car, so focus on how smooth the tweeter is, how natural female vocals sound, etc. Take some Diana Krall, or KT Tunstall or something like that and go listen. Harshness will be apparent quickly with soft vocals in front of acoutstic instruments.

What'cha got in the Kicker line up for a budget minded shopper?
I am putting in a dual zone receiver with video headrests. While the kids will likely be using headsets for longer trips, I want to have decent sound overall in the front and rear.

Thoughts??
KS components are darned nice for the money, with good assymetrical crossovers, and 3/4" dome tweeters.... Not too pricey either.
