seriously though, the lower frequencies will all react the same way when you get them into a car, so focus on how smooth the tweeter is, how natural female vocals sound, etc. Take some Diana Krall, or KT Tunstall or something like that and go listen. Harshness will be apparent quickly with soft vocals in front of acoutstic instruments.It's not an optical illusion.
