Diesel Wars

I was driving behind an old VW small pickup this morning while coming to work. A big sticker on the back said "Powered by vegetable oil" with a web address for bio-diesel conversions.

Unfortunately, as the light turned green, I was amazed by the huge cloud of soot bellowing out of its tailpipe. I then got into the left lane and passed it, and the entire side of the vehicle behind the pipe was covered in soot. Poor advertising for a potentially good idea.
