Zebra mussels not only are jumping reservoirs’ and lakes they are infesting threads on TO.
They are not here yet but the Game and Fish just started mandatory inspections this year at docks and all boat owners need to buy a $10 sticker for residents and it's $15 0r $25 for out of state boaters. They are going to have steam cleaners at the docks to sterilize the boats. I wonder how they are going to handle Ballast tanks and Live wells?????????

As far as I know, there are no zebra mussels down here.

However, the quagga infestation is severe.

gman is full of it in the Sand Hollow Mussels thread. It's not like mussels can continue to live forever, much less grow, in water if the food and oxygen can't be replenished.

BTW, most of us at the reunion did NOT beach our boats, we anchored. He was one of the few, I guess, to actually beach it.
