When I was down last weekend, we saw several people swimming. I was trunking it the last weekend in April and the water temp was 70 then. We've had plenty of 80+ degree days there to heat it up nicely.Comment

That's good news...I'll surf regardless of the temp...but swimming is another story. I don't think the kids really care.
That Flat Hollow FB page is pretty good. I don't think Twin Cove has one...I'll have to get on them...Comment

Long 24-36 hours ahead...can't wait for it to be over and be able to chil-lax and have some fun at the lake.
Started at 6:00 a.m. this morning, changing some fiber modules for a network switch...next up is to prepare to move servers after midnight tonight from one data center to another. Somewhere in the middle of this I need to go pick up my boat from our dealer (65 miles away). Midnight to ~4:00 a.m. move the servers. Go home and try to catch a couple hours of sleep.
Tomorrow, go to my daughter's Pre-K class "daddy day" and play games with the kids and eat lunch. When done, load up the truck & boat and head to the lake with my daughter. Stop at the grocery and get supplies for the weekend. Splash the boat and haul everything over to the house. Pick up my wife & son around midnight when they arrive (after my son's baseball game).
Saturday, get up at 7am and get the (new to us) Sea Doo that I got my wife for Mother's day from our storage garage. Go to a local marine and pay for a Dandy (PWC) Dock and meet them at the public ramp to put it in the water. Tow it over to our floating house and install/mount it. Test out the Sea Doo to make sure it checks out OK. Then get out on the boat and do some boarding/surfing/swimming.
Sunday, get up early and eat a good breakfast. Load up the boat with plenty of food/drink and head out to the other side of the lake in search of the Guapo clan!!!
