              Anyone know of any free downloadable programs to do markups on PDF files?

              Like Arrows, clouds, and Text box's. Right now I'm just cut and pasting it into Paint and it's a PITA

                G - It depends on what you are doing. There are a bunch of freeware and demo tools out there that you can find. Open Office is an open source software that rivals MS Office and has some PDF capabilities built-in. I have also heard of CutePDF and believe it is supposed to be decent.

                I have Acrobat so I haven't really used any of these. So, I can help from a hands-on perspective.

                  We are always doing markups on pdf specs be we have to do it by hand.

                  we just want it to look more professional when we send them to our customers.

                  Just simple stuff arrows pointing to P/N and text boxes mostly.

                    I know you can do marks up on Acrobat but only if they are unprotected.
