the reason the rudder failed is because the hull delaminated from shaft exit to stern

In the opinion of his repair guy. But I think it would be possible that it was damaged previously, and the final failure caused the delamination.

Who knows. I'm sure Tige would like to see it, or at least good pics of it all.
