I gotta take the boat to the dealer this afternoon. Hopefully get that bimini fixed under warranty.

Maybe they can figure out the amp/sub issue, too, since they were the ones to modify the factory system.

Any pics of the bimini damage? Anything I need to be aware of???

No pics yet. When it happened, I was more concerned with picking up the pieces and bundling it into it's zipper bag on the tower so that we could continue. I haven't touched it since then. I'll try to take pics today when we pull it out at the dealer.

I would just suggest checking all your connections - the joints of the tubing and the connections to the tower. I don't really know what happened, but I think it started when one support tube pulled out from the little swivel mount part that snaps into the tower. Those little tubes are just crimped around the swivel mount. At least that's my guess. Maybe we'll learn more when we look today.

The joints/attachment points of the main perimeter tubes at least have a set screw to hold them in place. When I was trying to re-insert those tubes into those joints, I had to back out the set screw a long way, so it didn't seem to me that was the initial problem point.
