Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

Well, generally had a good day on the lake. Beautiful weather. Shorty wetsuit was just right for the water temps.

One big uh-oh happened. As we were cruising to the far side of the lake, almost the entire bimini ripped off the tower, bending several of the support poles

I think what happened, is that one of the support pieces is made up of two tubes, which are simply crimped together. No set screw or pin or anything else. I think that joint came apart, and then the same joint on the other side. Then the two main front supports ripped out of their sockets (the set screws were unable to hold it back).

Guess I have a trip to the dealer this week. Hopefully they will just replace the whole setup under warranty, but we'll see.

That's a bummer....they should warranty it. If not....Bimini Wars!!!

They always have fun on the water.

They just didn't spend as much time as normal IN the water, since they don't have wetsuits.

They had to be excited to get out on the boat and I know you were. Sorry to hear about the top, but it's always good to know everything checks out after the winter.

Bummer Dingle, I think It should be warranty also
