I say it was stored outside, no cover, drain plug in. The boat filled with water, and somehow, either due to the boat being parked nose high, or due to the lifting of the trailer nose, the water got enough weight behind the axles to cause the boat to suddenly and violently tip bow up, driving the rudder into the ground, snapping the glass in the hull around the rudder mount.It's not an optical illusion.
