            Phil - quick question...

On Eddie's boat, from the pics it looks like the horn's "flare" is tilted due to the slope of the bar to which the cans are attached. Would this reduce the efficiency or quality of the sound being projected back toward the rider? In order to level it out, I guess some re-drilling of the cans would be required. But, would it even be worth the effort?

Funny you ask; we discussed that in PM earlier.
From an acoustic standpoint, it will be best if the horn's flare is as horizontal as possible. This could be accomplished by either re-drilling and tapping, or possibly just rotating the horn to the orientation of the existing holes that was as close to horizontal as possible.

OK thanks - I was just curious.

From the screw orientation, it looks like they are as level as possible without re-drilling. It's not far from horizontal, just a bit.

Mike - I'm not trying to be critical of your install. It looks great!

He was being pressured by someone to get the boat back
I really didn't notice the position until seeing the pictures. I can tell you the rider can hear them just fine....without leveling them I don't know if they could tell a difference.

I believe it is the world's firtst install of them, (on a boat, we listened to them a lot in a test rig) so there probably will be a slight learning curve for everyone, including us...

AWESOME!!!....I can not make a lot of comparisons, but I have heard systems that sound good in the parking lot but terrible on the water. I think this setup sounds even better on the water...especially when you crank on those subs.
