OK, my wife has next weekend off...we better hit the lake then.

Then she's out of town the next weekend. Gonna have to find some other crewmembers to go out then.

Had a great time. Good seats. Under cover. I had bad luck the first few races then started hitting the last few. I picked the derby winner and it payed well. I had to go with Calvin (the jockey). Came home and had to pay the sitter a lot of my winnings...12 hrs today and 6 hrs yesterday...good thing I won

Are mint julips actually any good?

Nope. I always have one for tradition. They are mainly bourbon and ice with a bit of sugar and sprigs of mint. I'm not a bourbon fan.

Nice! On TV they showed some guy placing a $100K bet on Super Saver just before post time. That would have been a nice payday...I think they said $800K

I've never had one but I would guess that after the 6th or 7th one at churchill downs they would be ok
