Should my boat have came equipped with a fire extinguisher?
This is the second boat I have ever bought new and the first one came with one.
The Z1 did not


I don’t mind buying one but if they are supposed to come with one I would like to get it from Tige or the dealer free

My didn't come with one. I just bought one at Bass Pro when I was shopping for all the required crap needed for the boat.

Thanks Guapo, I will probably do that also. The Dealer I bought from is in Kentucky and my local dealer is still a little upset about that.

I don't think the boats come with a fire extinguisher, but most dealers will install one. I went to pick up my boat and the dealer had put in a fire extinguisher, throw cushion, 6 orange pfd's, 4 large bumpers, dock lines, and the ratchet straps for the trailer.

They were out of anchors/lines and were supposed to give me one when I took it for service this spring. Of course they are now closed.....I think their creditor went under.

That's only about 45 minutes from where I work/live. I didn't think he was still a Tige dealer. I bought mine near Indianapolis.

I think if they had of made it to this summer things would have worked out. They Malibu dealership moved up the road about one mile to a dealer who dropped Mastercraft. Then the same owners of the new Bu dealership closed their Mastercraft dealership in Charlotte.
