I should have know that....back when I was hunting the turkey population was so low it was not very common around here. Maybe your son can practice calling in some to photo.

Not a bad idea. That would be good practice and wouldn't require any adult supervision....

My 8 year old is bugging to let him try turkey hunting. Not sure I want to go there. I'm not much of a hunter...I prefer to get up at a more civilized time of day...not 4:30 am I like to hunt quail and pheasant. Show up whenever, let the dogs do the work, have some fun and go home...

You like the "orphans preferred" line?! I guess they don't want to have to notify any parents that their son was scalped somewhere in the great plains while delivering a love letter...

One day down and One day back it was about 978 miles or something. I pulled the 19SS Crownline down there and the truck knew it was tied on to something different on the way back The Gas Gauge sure did anyway
