My youngest was 5'7" / 209 at his physical last Summer. That was after playing baseball through July...he did drop a few pounds during the football season. I just hope he will get some height from my wifes side of the family.

BTW, I was laughing at your description of him. I played FB through high school. More heart than talent, though. My junior year, I was the only player out of 120 (sophs through seniors) whose weight was in the double digits
He'll pick up a fall sport...not sure what though. He plays basketball and baseball...we'll find a fall sport.

Double digits Is that where you got your nickname? You would have been nothing more than a Digleberry for some of the linemen

Whoops, I meant I was double digits as a soph - 98 lbs. One year later I had ballooned up to 125. 25% weight gain in one year Tipped the scales at a mean 139 my senior year.

                  LOL...that weight's not a bad thing now...

I weighed 165 as a sophomore and 190 as a senior...played running back and strong safety (and power lifted, etc). Wish I hadn't done it now. add about 15 extra pounds on that frame and it's not pretty!

Put your hand on a hot stove for a minute, and it seems like an hour. Sit with a pretty girl for an hour, and it seems like a minute. THAT'S relativity. Albert Einstein
