I love the look of both yours and Eddie's. Unfortunately, dark color deck like yours wouldn't be good down here. It would literally scorch you in the summertime.
The main reason we went with our colors was because my wife wanted for our boat to be recognizable from a distance so that meeting up with friends would be a little easier on Mead.
Is mead kind of like Powell. I was mesmorized by the pictures of Powell.
From the pics (since I've never been to Powell), Powell seems to have more smooth weathered rock formations/cliffs, and a more striking red color to most of the rocks. But Mead is pretty nice, too. Except that we are 120' below full pool right now.

It's still a huge lake, with many areas 200+ ft deep. But the total volume is down over 50% from full, I think. I don't understand the Colorado River system management, because Powell is filling up, Havasu and Mojave are both almost full, but they keep dropping Mead. Sucks.
