Holy Bat Beacon Batman, those LED lights are BRIGHT! First pic is from neighbors dock across the cove. the second is from the surface of the floating portion of the dock.

Looks great - but it does seem a tad bright
It is damn bright, seriously, probably too bright! You can see clearly to walk around on the dock just from the light already installed. I accidentally built in an option though... For every two LED strips I am providing a trunk line of power back to the power supply. The trunk line comes to each pair of LED strips right in the middle between the two. So, as a result, right where the lights are connected in parallel, I can easily re-wire them in series to cut the voltage in half. It will reduce the light level hopefully to about the right amount.... It should make them last longer too, huh?
It's not an optical illusion.
It just looks like one.....
