At Bighorn canyon you need to go to the Ranger station and get a $5 permit, He comes out, walks around your boat being very careful to stay at least 10' away just in case that if you had any Mussels they could not jump on him. writes you a permit on his Govt issue clipboard and away you go

They have only ever checked that the plug is out on mine, they never check the Ballast...

I can't stand the mussel inspection process in Colorado. They need to come up with a uniform testing procedure for the whole state. They also need to accept tags from other lakes in the state.

Agreed, they need to have a uniform procedure for the Rocky Mountain states we are about the only place left where there are Mussel free lakes still
