I had to do that with tile whe I first bought my place thtrog. I used some industrial adhesive remover, a heat gun and a paint scraper. I would love to tell you it wasn't that bad but it sucked a lot.

I did find a hd floor scraper today with a 48" handle

I put tile down when I built my house. Putting tile DOWN on fresh concrete sucked, I can't, or don't even want to imagine pulling that garbage UP...
