Five we had some problems with our Axis that were more Indmar related than Axis related. Our local Axis/Bu/MB dealer made a godfather offer on trade it that really made it a no brainer. The Axis was an AMAZING wakeboarding boat. We had the Raptor 400 engine and routinely ran 3500+ pounds of ballast plus wedge. The wake was downright scary at times. If your main focus is wakeboarding the A22 is damn near impossible to beat when it comes to bang for your buck. I've had borderline pros and guys who could get video parts ride behind the Axis we had and they all said it was the biggest wake they had hit. My brother and I shared that boat and it was traded in on a 2012 MB TWB 23. I will say we are already having issues with the PCM motor.....
Now how did we end up with an RZ2 as well?? My fiancé and I canceled our big wedding and decided to do a small family ceremony instead. That left some extra money laying around. My fiancé wanted us to have our own boat instead of sharing with my brother. So we ordered an RZ2. I will give you a direct comparison once the boat arrives.
Next two weeks are booked with other stuff, so the soonest I'll get it out is three weeks plus now that the hot tub is clean the wife has set her sights on me cleaning the camper and getting it ready for the season.

For those of us that work hard and have the toys its always more and more work to enjoy them. But then again its all about the fun.
Burrr. I was suprised that my lake warmed as soon as it did. It did get up to 76 but fell back to 67 lasa week. I am going to try and get out tomorrow evening if I can get away from work early enough.
That's what everyone says about their A22. The local Axis dealer out here has been partnered up with Josh Twelker (Jr. Pro rider) until this year when MC gave him an X25.
It's pulled a lot of my family at INT events and they all love that boat. Last year's boat had that corvette motor in it.
And to top it all off, the well equipped A22 with the corvette motor and plug 'n play ballast, etc. is still about $2k cheaper than the stripped down R20. The R20 had the Surf ballast, that was the only extra quoted on it.
