I lube the tip, heat the hose, then insert. Then it smears its way down shaft as it put in.

I use the 5200 since its already open and in my tool try in the boat with me. Once cured, it adds another layer of protection

In you best Bevis and ******** voices and laugh "Lube and protection in the same sentence"

It must have been the friction that popped the hose because it wasn't that hot.

Then heat it a little longer on the next one. It sure doesnt look like it was over heated.

The Mastercrafts are really confusing to me. They are almost all "X" models, and the numbers dont seem to have any correlation to the size.
