Skippa is doing his best to get truck wars going again
Just giving some FUN FRIDAY FACTS to RT
Like I said over there it would be like trying to convince a bu or a MC or a nauti guy that a Tige is a good boat. My buddy has been in my boat likes it, yet he still would not consider owning one.
Another funny thing he is a Ford guy and when we take the scouts guess who is always towing the trailer, not him.
It can be for scouts, towing boats (his is a lot lighter), or driving, and I never use as much gas as he does.
Every manufacturer will have vehicles with issues. My FIL's Ford was having over a grand a month put into it and it never got fixed. I have had my Dodge since Sept 1999 and it has over 130,000 which are all almost towing miles, it would have more but like I said it is mainly used for towing. I have only had to change oil filter and at that they are not at regular intervals. I have hauled some very heavy loads and I am not talking about two miles. I have hauled 500 - 600 miles in the rockies and I don't tow like a grandpa.
You must tow like grandpa if you've never put brakes on it or Changed transmission and rear end fluid.I would hope it's a diesel or good luck getting those plugs out.If it is a diesel i hope you changed your coolant a couple of times. There's always at least one or two lucky Dodge owners.I sell the guys at the Dodge dealer the tools to fix the rest of them.

Two sets of front brakes, changed transmission oil twice, just barely changed the rear and front diff for the first time. On the 3rd set of tires. I believe 3 or 4 air filters. Change the oil at about 7,000 - 10,000. Changed the radio station a dozen times or so as well as the CD's and tapes. Washed it a hand full of times. It is a diesel. Driving across WY on I-80 with a 30 ft gooseneck horse trailer (steel not aluminum) loaded guessing in the 20,000# neighborhood at 100 mph isn't taking it easy.
I cant wait till she wins a race and starts smooching with the "Cup Girls" in the winners circle like the male drivers do
