Just got done swapping HD on my MacBook, 160G to 750G. Now I'm consolidating my iTunes library from my external HD to the new HD, all 120G of it.

I choose speed over size. I have a 250 gig SSD, and the performance increase was 10fold.... It's crazy how snappy this thing is now.

BTW - if anyone wants to visit Disneyland and avoid the crowds, I have three suggestions. 1- apparently Jan & Feb are slightly less crowded than the rest of the year. 2- go on a weekday on which all the locals are in school. 3- and this is the most important - go on a day that rain starts falling early in the morning and continues steadily all day. It seems that most visitors are scared of getting wet, so the park was damn near empty yesteday. Not kidding - the wait times for most all the rides were measured in seconds instead of minutes or hours. The dinglets had a great time, and we were happy to not be standing in lines all day long.

I got lucky, and pulled a "you owe me a favor, remember?" I am a Sr App Admin / Developer, and the hardware boobs owed me a favor for writing them an application to keep track of their hardware.

SSD in my line of work means that your rocks are saturated surface dry...so they are wet but not dripping

have a hard time understanding why that is any good for a computer

I imagine you guys get some snow down there. I love it when it rains / snows here cause the Cali transplants think it's the end of the world, and forget how to drive. It also kills me when they pull the snow tires out.
