Tall bashing the new wakeboard wake post...does he ever post anything positive?
Although, to be fair, chpthril and I were both on the boat trying to weight it with tall. And it pretty much did suck. Weirdest thing about it was that the wakeboard wake got worse the more weight we added. It was cleanest and best when all ballast was empty.
Was BALLAST in the boat?Or did you add water weight to ballast bags?
We had a few people (can't remember how many - maybe 5 or 6 guys), stock ballast, plus an extra Enzo sac. For the wakeboard wake, we were just working with the stock ballast and weight distribution.

Were you loading the front or the rear? I've been told that it really needs a lot of nose weight and that's why they set up the front end like they did so that you could put more ballast in the front. I guess I will let him slide this time...

We tried it all - even distribution, very front heavy, and very rear heavy. None of them resulted in a nice clean wake.
Honestly, it was best when totally unweighted. Weird.
Hopefully they have improved the wakeboard wake in addition to the surf wake with the latest modifications.
Yeah, that goes for all of it. At least I should be able to handle all the annual maintenanace in about a half day next year...versus the three days or so that I have been putzing around with it this year
Practice makes perfect.
But, I really hope that the steering cable won't need it again for quite a few years...
