Our friends rent a house and take their boat to Hayden lake every year.

I'm looking at buying a place on Hayden in the next year or so, I've been cruising around all the lakes that we would like to buy on and scope them out with the Zillow app on the iPhone to see whats for sale and for how much. As soon as I sell my house in TX we'll be able to do something, it's killing me 'cause there are some great deals right now.

I've been doing the same on Lake Tapps Which is close to me but I couldn't get out of my current house without an economic miracle .

I've found this summer that all the lakes around here are the same temp near the surface. dive down 5 feet and it is colder but near the boat its the same in CDA as Twin Lakes and Hayden. And they all feel freezing cold to me
