The definition of "runabout" to me is a small boat (19' or shorter) with a little outboard.

The Yamaha is an oversized PWC in my opinion.

Hrm, just looked at them - they are getting pretty dang big eh.

I knew a guy at work who had one, and I've seen them sitting in front of delarships, but I haven't seen many on the water at all. I've been on some big and small lakes here the last two weeks and I haven't seen one on the water anywhere.

The one my friend owned was a nice boat, nicer than my Bayliner anyway. He was new to boats and liked the fact that it didn't have an exposed propeller. He did like to wakeboard and went out on our mutual friends MC and he liked that boat a lot more. I think he eventually sold it but I'm not sure he got another boat after that.

That's true about the elitists, Iwndr what kind of boats they had before. Not many people get into a nice wakeboat with WetSounds speakers for their first boat. I guess thats why I like this website, Everyone Loves Everybody (ELE)!
