Im lost without the PW thread!!!!

Good morning hoes! The kids let me sleep in till 0700 this morning. I cup of coffee down. Gotta get the boat ready now, heading out to meet WA at his lakehouse. I've been back 1.5 weeks and this is only the 3rd time I've had the boat out.

I would have been out yesterday but I went to the in-water wooden boat show on lake Coeur D'Alene (CDA for the locals).

It was great, they had some beautiful boats, and antique hydroplanes racing as well!

I got to see the wooden wake boarding boat from Stan Craft, as seen on WW. I'll post my pics up on a new thread in the off topics.

BLUF: 8 months to build, about 5-6k dry weight (they don't know, haven't weighed it yet), 2500lbs of ballast with a wedge and all could be yours for 250,000 bucks!

Does 3 - 5 gph seem right or does that seem like not enough? I can never tell how full it is and hate filling it all the way up, I don't care for the gas burp.

I mentioned that my buddy with the '84 Ski Nautique is looking at getting a new boat to surf. I think he is set on a SAN. He is going to check out a '03 SAN. From what I have seen on YouTube I don't think he is going to be happy. Any one have any experience with SAN's for surfing?
