Five, my '01 Dorsey did not have the 12v release. It had a 4 pin connector vs. the 5 that the new trailer has. Not sure what you have, but I had to use the key for backing steep inclines.
Just order your Boatmate with the cheapest steel wheels and swap tires out when you buy 8 new wheels now
That's an option, but when you get the 18's from the factory they use wider fenders and shorter axles. I checked this on my previos boat and it's expensive to change. I really like how the low profiles tow, there is a diffence.
Oh, actually I have the big flat connector on my boat more pins than 4. But I have the an adapter to plug into my 7-pin round connector. That 12V signal does go to one of the pins on the flat connector I just don't get 12V.
I have a call in to my service adviser that got $1800 outta me last month for a leaking radiator. Let's see if he calls me back.
