I checked the throttle. I don't think it cranks if the throttle is not in neutral. What about the deadman switch?

I dunno if it cranks if that's been flipped. Just know that it is the cause of many a "D'oh!" moment for boaters.

Daughter leaves for a 30 mile trek across WY tomorrow at 5am. It is a pioneer reenactment. She is not too excited to go but I think it will be good for her.
