The map I saw of the counties didn't include Sacramento County in the "conservative" side...

Glad you sold it...and glad you refused to sell it for use with an I/O. Unfortunately, he'll probably just go buy another one somewhere else and ignore your advice.

I was talking with a guy once about our boat, and he mentioned how much he loved wakesurfing. He went on to describe how intimidating it is to be surfing, looking down at the sterndrive and seeing that prop spinning almost right below you. Then he mentioned about doing it with his young son on the board with him. I tried to tell him to never do that again, and explained the differences in boats. Who knows if it made an impression enough to keep him from doing it again.

I told him to get a wakeskate instead. I even offered up my kneeboard for cheap.

This is the same reason I sold our Crestliner w/ and outboard, just so I could surf.
